PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION FIELD
Water fire-protection lacquer “Stabiterm-117” is designed for external and deep treatment of wood and wood-based materials, including LDSP, LDVM, LMDF used indoors, with the purpose for reduction of their fire hazard. It represents a homogeneous, viscous liquid of white color, without poignant odor. After application and drying, the layer is even, transparent, semi-matt, UV-resistant. “Stabiterm-117” is designed for application on surfaces not subjected to physical wear. Application of lacquer on surfaces of abovementioned materials previously applied paint-and-lacquer materials is allowed. APPLICATION METHOD AND CONSUMPTION
The lacquer is supplied ready for application. Processed surfaces should be dry and cleaned from dust, old paint and dirt. Ambient temperature not less then +5°C. The lacquer should be carefully stirred before application. The lacquer is applied with a roll or a spray. “Stabiterm-117” is resistant to ageing, meets requirements of fire safety stipulated in NBP 251-98. With consumption of 330g/m2, losses not considered, the lacquer provides 1st group of fire-protection efficiency. The mention consumption is achieved with application of 2 layers. During application of at least 330 g/m2 on decorative panels (LDSP, LDVP, LMDF laminated with PVC tape, paper, as well as painted), it provides following figures according to SNiP 21-01-97: G2 (moderately combustible) V2 (moderately inflammable), RP2 (poorly flame-spreading), D3 (moderate smoke-forming capacity), T2 (moderately toxic), which allows to apply them on evacuation paths for treatment of walls, ceilings in common corridors, lobbies and foyers.
In case of feeding of lacquer, it is allowed to dilute it with water for operating viscosity.
In case of application of fire-protection lacquer on surfaces previously applied paint-and-lacquer materials, one should ensure than there are no peelings. A surface covered with fire-protection lacquer, may be operated indoors at temperature from +50°С to -50°С. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Storage in seal factory package, far from sun rays. It is transported with any types of transport, according to cargo transportation rules. Do not subject the lacquer to freezing during storage and transportation. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
In factory packaging, in conditions of dry warehouse, at positive temperature, not less than 12 months. Upon expiry of the mentioned period, lacquer should be subjected to additional test, and in case of compliance with all TU figures, it is considered admissible for application. It preserves its operation properties during at least 10 years. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

In rooms, where operations with the lacquer are conducted, natural or combined extract and input ventilation should be installed. During operation, sanitary and hygienic requirements and rules of personal hygiene should be observed. In case of contact of lacquer with skin, it is necessary to rub this spot with warm water with soap. CERTIFICATES
