FIRE-PROTECTION PAINT FOR METAL		ORDER A SAMPLE

PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION FIELD
Fire-protection metal paint “Stabiterm-207" is designed for fire-protection of metallic structures operated in atmospheric conditions (under tent) and indoors. It is used in residential civil construction for internal jobs.
The paint increases the fire-resistance limit of metallic structures according to NPB 236-97. Paint consumption for achievement of fire resistance of 45 minutes with thickness of dry layer of 0.95 mm, is 1.3 kg/m². Paint consumption for achievement of fire resistance of 90 minutes with thickness of dry layer of 1.8 mm, is 2.5 kg/m². The consumption is cited without consideration of losses.
The paint represents a bloating system on organic base. At high temperatures, the paint forms a heat-insulating foam providing effective fire protection of metallic structures from influence of heat flow and flame.
The basic color of paint is white, coloring is possible.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
The paint is supplied ready for application. Processed surfaces of metallic structures should be dry and cleaned from any types of contaminations: rust, fats, dust, etc. For improved adhesion, it is recommended to apply “Stabiterm-207” on primed surfaces (GF-021 priming or analogs).
The paint is applied on metallic structures, not subjected to further mechanic treatment leading to removing fire-protection coating. The paint should be carefully stirred before application, in case of feeding, it is allowed to dilute it with xylene (GOST 9410-78), amounting not more than 5% of paint’s weight.
Treatment of metallic structures is possible with a roll, brush or an airless spraying plant. Minimum ambient temperature during application of paint is 15°С. The paint is applied in 2-3 layers (depending on required thickness of the dry layer) with intermediate drying 3- 6 hours, at ambient temperature not lower than +20°С. With lower ambient temperatures of processed surface, high humidity, lack of air exchange, the time of drying may increase. Total drying time is 24 hours. Full readiness for operation is 72 hours after application of the last layer.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
It is transported with any types of transport, according to cargo transportation rules. The paint should be stored in seal metallic packaging in a dry, non-heated warehouse, far from fire, heating devices, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
The warranty period of storage of paint is 12 years from the moment from production, under condition of preserving hermeticity of packaging.
The warranty period is 10 years from application, with observation of conduction and utilization of coverage.

Painting jobs should be performed in well-ventilated rooms. Use means of individual protection during operation (rubber gloves, glasses). In case of contact of paint with skin, it is necessary to rub this spot with cotton wool moisten with solvent, and then wash it with warm water with soap.
Clean tools from paint with an organic solvent.
