PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION FIELD
Fire-bioprotection compound “Stabiterm-1” represents a mixture of fire-retardants, a surface-active substance and an antiseptic. The compound is designed for external and deep treatment of wood and wood-based materials for reduction of their fire hazard and protection from bio-damages. To achieve only fire-protection effect, component A is applied, for fire bio-protection effect, components A and B are used. It is used in residential civil construction for internal jobs. It is produced for industrial and household application. APPLICATION METHOD AND CONSUMPTION
Processed surfaced should be cleaned from dust and dirt. Surfaces, previously processed with enamels, paints, treatment and other compounds non-compatible with this compound, as well as those having oil and bitumen stains, should be carefully cleaned before application of the compound. The density of wood should not be more than 15%. Jobs should be performed at temperature not lower than –5°С. The operating compound is applied on wood and wooden structures, not subjected to further mechanical treatment, water exposure resulting in removing and wash-off of fire-protection coating.
The operating compound is prepared by dissolving the powder in water with approximate ratio 1:2.5 (one part of powder and two and a half parts of water). The density of the operating compound should amount to 1.24g/cm3, antiseptic additive (component B) is introduced accounting 100 grams per kilogram of powder. The compound should be carefully stirred before application. Wood treatment may be conducted in any way: spraying, soaking, brushing. The compound is applied in 2-4 layers with intermediate drying of 5-6 hours, at t=+20°С. To achieve 1 group of fire-protection efficiency (NBP 251-98), it is necessary to ensure consumption of the operating compound in amount of 550 g/m2, without consideration of losses. The fire bio-protection coating may be used in closed, dry facilities with relative humidity not more than 70%, at temperature from –50°С to +50°С. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

The compound “Stabiterm-1” is composed of environmental-friendly materials, and during application, operation and storage does not emit substance to the environment, which are harmful for health and life of people, belongs to the 3 class of hazard. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
It is transported with any types of transport, according to cargo transportation rules effective for such type of transport. The compound should be stored in original packing, in warehouse facilities at temperature from –50°С to +50°С. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
The warranty period of storage is 12 years from the moment from production, under condition of preserving hermeticity of packaging.
The warranty period is 10 years from application, with observation of conduction and utilization of coating. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

In rooms, where operations with the compound are conducted, natural or combined extract and input ventilation should be installed. During operation, sanitary and hygienic requirements should be observed: work using means of individual protection, observe rules of personal hygiene, do not allow ingress of compound into the organism.
